today i got to spend time back in my home town…chicago! so good to be home, every time i get to come. i actually bolted away from the tour for a few hours to meet my nephew!!! what an amazing little baby. he will be one month old in 2 days!
i got to see my beautiful sister, and my grandparents as well, while we shoveled some Giordano’s Pizza down. man i love chicago pizza. maybe too much!
tonights show at METRO was amazing! such a rad venue, and i’ll have to say it didn’t hurt that the guys played such a solid set! they played “Family Affair” by memory, as well as pulling out one of my all time favorites of theirs….Summer of 69. so great.
oh yeah…GO CUBS! way to clinch the division today…right down the block!

Awesome. I love the Metro. My favorite venue of all time. And Gino’s East is the way to go for REAL Chicago pizza, you should know that.
