heavy & light

January 30th, 2010 by jered

a few weeks ago i was flown out to orlando florida by my good buddy chris, and the rest of the TWLOHA team. they were putting on the 3rd annual Heavy and Light show. it was an absolute honor to be a part of, and i was so glad i could serve them.

the night was filled with great music, wonderful conversations from stage, back stage, in the van, in the crowd….and there definitely was a vibe of ‘hope’ the whole night thru….which was the focus.
take a moment, check out twloha’s website…get educated, involved, and drop some support.

i was really blessed to get some unique experiences at this event. watching all the guys collaborate, work on their encore song. backstage before the show, all stripped down, all the artists sitting around the table just singing and laughing. really cool memory.
and anis mojgani blew everyone away all night long. holy cow. my word. just some epic and beautiful words. my favorite “this is for the 2 year olds who cannot be understood because they speak half english….and half God.” wow.

here’s some shots from the night. (you can view more by clicking HERE)

I found you through Elsie’s Valentine Wishlist post! I’m really loving the emotion you captured in these photos, especially Aaron Gillespie’s pic, third from the last. Awesome!

Amazing photos man! Great composition!! I love images 6,8 & 10!! Your backstage shot is amazing. Inspiring now that I have a camera that can get great shots in low light! Love the shot of Aaron 3rd from the last.
